Civil protection coordination
The large district town of Radebeul is responsible for general hazard defence and the duty to cooperate in disaster control. In order to cope with an extraordinary event in the city of Radebeul and to cooperate in the event of a disaster, the associated tasks must be coordinated within the city administration. There is also a regular exchange with the Meißen district office (lower disaster control authority).
The large district town of Radebeul employs a volunteer dyke runner to support preventive flood protection. The dyke runner has the task of regularly checking for any damage to the dykes and informing citizens about local flood protection.
