Follow in the footsteps of the great Saxon fantasist and adventure writer Karl May. The Karl May Museum is located in the former home of the famous Winnetou author. In addition to an exciting exhibition on the life of the artist, the Wild West log cabin "Villa Bärenfett" houses an exhibition on the life of North American Indians that is unique in Europe. A wide variety of events centred on Karl May are regularly held in the large event tipi in the museum park.
