Registrations for the 2025/26 school year

For children from Radebeul (except Wahnsdorf), registration for the 2025/26 school year will take place on Tuesday, 27 August 2024 from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

For children from Wahnsdorf, registrations will take place on Monday, 26 August 2024, 8.00 - 12.00 and 14.00 - 18.00 and on Wednesday, 28 August 2024 from 8.00 - 12.00 and 14.00 - 18.00.

This applies to all children in Radebeul who have reached the age of six by 30 June 2025. In exceptional cases, children can also start school early if they have reached the required level of development.

Please note the information below:

Children from Radebeul (except Wahnsdorf) must be registered by their legal guardians to attend a primary school in the relevant school district of Radebeul EAST or WEST, unless they are registered at an independent primary school (please note, however, the obligation to notify in accordance with Section 3 (3) of the primary school regulations).

You can find out your school district - according to your child's main place of residence - at www.radebeul.de/schulen. Here you will find important information as well as the school enrolment form for the 2025/26 school year, which you should print out, complete, sign and bring with you to the school enrolment appointment. If you are unable to print it out directly, you can pick up a copy at the Sozialrathaus, Hauptstraße 4 in Radebeul in the school administration department (2nd floor) during general opening hours.

In the 2025/26 school year, our primary schools will have the following enrolments:

Grundschule Friedrich Schiller, Grundschule Oberlößnitz, Grundschule Niederlößnitz and Grundschule Naundorf each have two classes; Grundschule Kötzschenbroda has one class.

Please note that your child can only be enrolled at a primary school of your choice in the Radebeul OST or Radebeul WEST school district.

Enrolment deadline:

Tue, 27 August 2024, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Please bring the following documents:

• School enrolment form
• Birth certificate of the child to be enrolled
• Identity card of the legal guardian(s)
• Copy of the custody declaration / custody order, if applicable
• Proof of measles protection

It is not necessary for the child to attend the enrolment. If you have any questions, please contact the primary schools or the school administration department (Tel. 0351 8311-809).

For Radebeul children from Wahnsdorf

Children from the Wahnsdorf district of Radebeul must be registered by their legal guardians for school attendance at Reichenberg Primary School, August-Bebel-Straße 65, unless they are registered at an independent primary school (please note, however, the obligation to provide notification in accordance with § 3 Para. 3 of the primary school regulations).

Enrolment dates:

Monday, 26 August 2024: 8:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 18:00
Wednesday, 28 August 2024: 8.00 am - 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm - 6.00 pm

Please bring the following documents:

• School enrolment form (can be found on the school website or at the school on the above-mentioned enrolment days)
• Birth certificate of the child to be enrolled
• Identity card of the legal guardian(s)
• Copy of the custody declaration / custody order, if applicable

It is not necessary for the child to be present at the enrolment; if possible, both legal guardians should attend. If this is not possible, a power of attorney from the second legal guardian must be presented together with a copy of an identity card.
