Noise action plan (2024)
Noise is one of the environmental problems of our time that is most clearly perceived by the population. It results to a large extent from mobility-related and economic traffic.
To protect people from these harmful environmental influences, the EU Environmental Noise Directive has established a standardised Europe-wide concept to reduce or completely avoid environmental noise and its consequences.
In implementing the EU Environmental Noise Directive, the city of Radebeul is obliged to carry out noise action planning in accordance with Section 47e of the Federal Immission Control Act.
The city of Radebeul adopted a noise action plan back in 2018. In 2022, the relevant traffic routes in the city were mapped again.
The current noise action plan follows on from the noise mapping carried out in 2022. The objectives from the 2018 noise action plan were evaluated, updated and the municipal scope for action reassessed.
The draft of the noise action plan was put on public display from 2 April 2024 to 3 May 2024 in accordance with the announcement in the official gazette of the city of Radebeul on 1 April 2024. The comments received were evaluated as shown in the appendix to the noise action plan.
On 22 May 2024, the City Council unanimously adopted the Noise Action Plan 2024 in the version dated 8 May 2024 by resolution SR 38/24-19/24.
