Radebeul is looking for an honorary justice of the peace

08.05.2024

The large district town of Radebeul maintains an arbitration board in Radebeul, which conducts arbitration proceedings in civil disputes concerning property law claims, claims arising from neighbouring rights and, in some cases, non-property law claims, as well as conciliation proceedings in private prosecution cases, including trespassing, insults, bodily harm or damage to property. The proceedings before the arbitration board serve the purpose of settling legal disputes outside of court proceedings by reaching an agreement between the parties.
Since 15 October 2014, the duties of the arbitration board have been carried out by an honorary justice of the peace. Due to the expiry of the term of office of the justice of the peace, the city council must elect a new justice of the peace for a period of 5 years in accordance with Section 6 (1) sentence 1 of the Saxon Arbitration Act.
For this reason, persons interested in holding the office of an honorary justice of the peace in the Arbitration Board of the Great District Town of Radebeul are hereby invited to apply to the Great District Town of Radebeul, Pestalozzistraße 6, 01445 Radebeul, up to and including 31 May 2024 using the application form provided.

Interested persons can obtain further information about the honorary position of Justice of the Peace by calling 0351 8311-716 during the usual opening hours of the Legal and Public Order Office.
