  • Die Empfänger der Spendenschecks.

A joint mulled wine stand organised by the Radebeul Lions and the ZONTA Club Elbland at the "Lichterglanz & Budenzauber" Christmas market in Altkötzschenbroda last year raised €5,000 in donations. These were handed over on Friday, 15 March 2024 at the Haus Steinbach winery. The winery donated the mulled wine for sale.

The following can be happy about the donations

  • the Radebeul food bank, so that the personal contribution to be paid by all those in need does not increase despite rising energy and fuel prices
  • the Radebeul women's refuge for a child-friendly environment that gives the experienced carers the means to cater to the children's needs and create play and learning opportunities.
  • the Friedenshaus Radebeul, a newly founded organisation that helps children of separated parents with its work. With the courses offered for children in separation processes, the qualified team at the Friedenshaus helps to create a stable and supportive environment that has a positive influence on the children and promotes long-term mental health and relationship stability.
  • The Friends of the Radebeul Music School to promote musical education and cultural development for young talents. The music school's Radebeul Youth Symphony Orchestra will be travelling to Laakirchen in Austria over Ascension Day to give three concerts in the context of the Euro Region Capital of Culture. In order to make the performances possible and at the same time keep the financial burden acceptable for the parents, the music school is dependent on donations.
  • Craft course for Ukrainian refugee children, organised jointly with children from Radebeul by the Moritzburg production school. This important integration measure is financed exclusively by donations for materials and tools. The donation will enable the course to continue.
