The watering season starts again - become a tree sponsor

Last summer, on the initiative of the Rotary Club of Radebeul, a tree sponsorship programme was set up via the Radebeul Citizens' App.
With the onset of the warm season, there are still many young street trees that would appreciate some extra water.
A tree sponsorship via the Radebeul Citizens' App is concluded for one year and can be extended. After registering in the app, you will find the young trees that are less than ten years old marked on the map.
As not everyone can water street trees every day with a watering can, around 110 watering bags provided by the Rotary Club of Radebeul are still available for new tree sponsors to collect from the Tourist Information Centre at Hauptstraße 12.
The watering bag is placed around the tree trunk like a coat and filled with up to 75 litres of water. The water is released drop by drop over 6 to 9 hours and topped up once or twice a week.
The sponsor card attached to the watering bag can be used to document your commitment to "your" tree.
The Radebeul citizen app is available free of charge in the Android and iOS app stores.
