Repair work on the pavements on the main road

The city of Radebeul is planning to carry out repair work on the western pavement of Hauptstraße between Maxim-Gorki-Straße and Augustusweg.
As part of the measure, the Saxon road surface of the pavement will be renewed. Between Sachsenstraße and Augustusweg, the pavement will be paved due to the steep longitudinal gradient. Kerbs and road drains will be repaired and supplemented where necessary. The pedestrian crossing points at the Hauptstraße/Sachsenstraße and Hauptstraße/Maxim-Gorki-Straße junctions will be completely rebuilt.
Implementation of the measure will begin on 11 September 2023 and continue until the end of October. The work will be carried out in several sections with the respective construction site closed on one side. Accessibility for direct neighbours is guaranteed.
The stone setting and road construction company Jens Hausdorf from Thiendorf has been commissioned to carry out the work. The contract is worth around EUR 80,000.
