Panel event on the occasion of the ADFC Cycling Climate Test 2022

05.06.2023

Every two years, the German Cyclists' Federation (ADFC) conducts a nationwide survey to gauge the satisfaction of cyclists. After the overall results were presented together with the Federal Minister of Transport in Berlin in April, the city of Radebeul, together with the local ADFC group, would also like to present the local results to the citizens and discuss them with them.

The overall result for Radebeul is not exactly exhilarating with a "school grade" of 4.2. The reasons for this need to be analysed in detail. Such a survey is certainly also used to call for changes and formulate expectations of the city. The city of Radebeul has already recognised the need for action and laid the foundation for extensive improvements with the cycling concept adopted in 2022.

In a panel event on 15 June 2023 at 6.30 pm in the Radebeul Kultur-Bahnhof , Mayor Bert Wendsche will discuss the challenges of cycling in Radebeul with citizens, representatives of the ADFC and experts from the administration on the occasion of the current survey.

A concrete vision for future cycle traffic in Radebeul will be presented, with which key demands from the cycle traffic concept are to be realised.
