List of nominations for the office of lay judge is available

By resolution dated 17 May 2023 (SR 34/23-19/24), the city council of the large district town of Radebeul drew up a list of candidates for the office of lay judge at Meißen district court for the term of office 2024 to 2028.
The list of nominations will be available for inspection by anyone from 3 July to 7 July 2023 during general office hours at the Radebeul municipal administration, 01445 Radebeul, Pestalozzistr. 4, Legal and Public Order Office, Department of Order and Security, Room 1.14 or 1.15.
Objections to the list of proposed candidates can be lodged from 10 July to 14 July 2023 at the Radebeul municipal administration, Pestalozzistrasse 6 or at the Meißen district court, 01662 Meißen, Domplatz 3. The objection must be submitted in writing or for the record, stating the grounds that the list of nominees includes persons who may not or should not be included in accordance with points 6, 7 and 8 of the Administrative Regulation on Aldermen and Juvenile Aldermen.
Aldermen are elected by an independent election committee chaired by a judge at Meißen Local Court.
