Invitation to commemorate the Reichspogromnacht

06.11.2023

On 26 July 2005, Stumbling Stones were laid in front of the entrance to Moritzburger Straße 1, the Freund family, in memory of the Jewish citizens of Radebeul who were murdered in the Holocaust. Ingrid Lewek and Wolfgang Tarnowski thankfully compiled and documented the memory of the suffering up to the murder of the family members and other details of the former Jewish citizens of Radebeul in the book "Jews in Radebeul".

On the anniversary of the Reichspogromnacht on 9 November 1938, we want to commemorate all the victims of the Holocaust in Radebeul. To this end, we will gather in front of the stumbling stones at Moritzburger Straße 1 on 9 November at 2.30 p.m. Together with pupils from Radebeul schools, we want to symbolically clean the stones and lay flowers.

All citizens of Radebeul are cordially invited to attend.
