Co-operation agreement between Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH and the district town of Radebeul

In January, the city council passed a resolution on the cooperation agreement between Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH and the city of Radebeul. Today the time had come and the contract could be signed. Background:

A modern and sustainable infrastructure is an important basis for the development of Radebeul as a residential and business location. The expansion of broadband with fibre optic technology is a decisive measure, particularly in the field of telecommunications. As part of a district project with federal and state funding, it has been possible to eliminate the "white spots" in the Radebeul urban area and to accelerate the expansion of commercial areas and school centres.
Telekom Deutschland GmbH is carrying out its own expansion in two areas of the town, for which an agreement was reached last year.
On the part of Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH, the now comprehensive expansion of the
Radebeul city area is planned. This expansion will also be self-financed, i.e. without
federal and state funds as well as municipal financial contributions. The city will support the realisation within the framework of the legal requirements.
