Meißner Straße/Nach der Schiffsmühle roundabout opened to traffic

The Meißner Straße/Nach der Schiffsmühle roundabout (city boundary with Coswig) will be opened to traffic on 10 September 2022. This also eliminates the long-distance detours.
Access to the Megadrom will remain closed and will only be possible via the existing temporary solution.
However, we would like to point out now that there will be traffic restrictions again from 26 September 2022 due to the design of the inner circle of the roundabout. One side of the roundabout will be closed for this purpose. Vehicles travelling on the S 82 (Meißner Straße) will be able to pass through the roundabout at traffic lights. It will no longer be possible to drive onto the roundabout from Lößnitzstraße in Coswig from this day onwards, but it will be possible to drive onto Lößnitzstraße from the roundabout.
This traffic restriction is expected to remain in place until the end of October.
