Event as a public thank you for family carers

Radebeul has a special tradition of publicly thanking people who take on caring responsibilities in their private lives.

With this year's event, we are giving carers from the city of Radebeul a little musical break. Everyone who is a carer or has been a carer is invited, regardless of how long ago they were a carer.
A piece of music without breaks would be boring at first, then exhausting and tiring - for both the musician and the listener. It is similar with the lack of breaks in caring for relatives. If both the carer and the person being cared for are to be well, they need time out from everyday life. Times that are free from obligations, worries, bureaucracy and anger and that belong to the carers alone. These moments ensure that the carer's own life melody does not go unheard.
With the support of the Family Centre, the city of Radebeul would like to thank family carers for their valuable work, also with regard to their contribution to society and social coexistence in Radebeul.
