At last, it's back to the glittering lights and the magic of the stalls in Altkötzschenbroda! The Radebeul Christmas market starts on Friday, 25 November. With puppet shows, fairy tales, marvellous lights and live Christmas music, visitors can enjoy the first weekend of Advent in a contemplative atmosphere.
The highlight of the first Advent weekend is on Sunday, when Father Christmas drives up to the church square in his carriage with a sack full of presents at 4.00 pm. There, together with the Lord Mayor Bert Wendsche, he will ceremoniously cut the traditional giant stollen and distribute it to the little Christmas market visitors.
