MAKE #EDUCATION CLEAR! - Use the parent hotline and media counselling services

Due to the coronavirus, numerous career counselling and training placement events in the district of Meißen have unfortunately been cancelled in recent months.

However, the careers advisors at the Riesa Employment Agency and the local job centre in the district of Meißen are still available for young people and their parents. For the next four weeks, they will be offering a special hotline service on Thursdays from 13:00-18:00 on the subject of career and study choices, particularly with a view to the new school and training year starting in August.

All questions about careers guidance, careers counselling and apprenticeship placement will be answered individually. If required, a follow-up appointment can be arranged or information material can be provided by post based on the interests of the individual.

In cooperation with the Employer Service and regional network partners, there is also help with the specific search for vacant training places as well as advice on using internet platforms such as www.air-meissen.de or the job exchange of the Federal Employment Agency.
