Information on parental contributions during the lockdown

We would like to inform you that the state of Saxony has provided for a refund of the parental contribution for childcare. For the period from 14 December 2020 - 17 January 2021, one month will be exempt from contributions. The exemption from the contribution only applies if emergency childcare was not utilised during this period.
After 18 January, the parental contribution will be charged on a weekly basis, depending on whether emergency care is used. There will be further guidelines from the Free State on this, which are not yet available.
Due to the shortage of time, the parental contribution for December 2020 will first be debited on 15 January 2021. With the next statement, the parental contribution will then be refunded or credited, depending on the use of emergency care.
