ZAOE recycling centres open gradually

On Wednesday, 22 April 2020, the recycling centres in the association area will gradually open for the delivery of waste from private households.
The recycling centres will remain closed for commercial deliveries.
The transfer stations with the small collection areas (WSH) in Gröbern, Kleincotta and Freital will remain closed! There will be separate information about the Groptitz transfer station.
In Freital, a temporary green waste collection point will also be set up at Schlammteich 1 (probably until 2 May) for private suppliers. The green waste collection point will start operating on 23 April.

Opening hours
For the period from 22 April to 2 May, new opening hours apply for the above-mentioned recycling centres.
Monday - Friday 12:00 - 18:00
Saturday 08:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Notes
Please observe the following instructions:
1. the instructions of the operating personnel must be followed at all times. This applies in particular to requests to enter or drive onto the site.
2. the recycling centres may only be entered or driven on with a covering for mouth and nose (e.g. masks, scarves, cloths etc.).
3. the distance regulation according to the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance of 17 April 2020 applies on the company premises. Deliverers must therefore keep a distance of at least 1.5 m, usually 2 m, from ZAOE employees and all other persons on the site.
ZAOE asks for the public's understanding for these measures. Patience will also be required, as the regulations put in place to comply with the health protection measures may result in longer waiting times.

The ZAOE hopes that citizens will act prudently with regard to waste deliveries. It should be checked whether bulky waste must be taken to the recycling centre on the first day of opening. This can still be registered for collection in writing or electronically.
