More night buses during the time change

21.10.2020

Winter time starts again next weekend. "Despite the time change, night owls don't have to worry about their connections," emphasises Torsten Roscher, timetable planner at Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe (VVO). "All passengers will get to their destinations safely by bus and train on the night of 24 to 25 October." The VVO's regional night bus service runs as usual from Dresden city centre to the surrounding area.
On Sunday night, the clocks will be set back by one hour from 3 am to 2 am. "Because there are therefore two 2.45 a.m. services, the regional night bus to Meißen will also run once more from Dresden Postplatz," says Torsten Roscher. "The buses will take passengers via Cossebaude, Gauernitz and Meißen's old town centre to the bus station."
Night owls from Radeburg and Moritzburg get home from Neustadt station at 1.25 a.m. and 2.55 a.m. on summer time and around 3.05 a.m. on winter time. As usual, the bus makes a short diversions via Louisenstraße and Bischofsweg to pick up visitors to Dresden Neustadt directly on site.

Further information on the timetable and fares is available daily from the staff at the VVO mobility centre on 03 51 8526555, on the Internet at www.vvo-online.de/nachtverkehr and on the move at www.vvo-mobil.de.
