Employees of the Radebeul city administration are once again cycling together with colleagues from the twin town of St. Ingbert. This year's destination is St. Ingbert's French twin town of St. Herblain. We can already speak of a small tradition, as this is already the 6th joint cycle tour with St. Ingbert. It all began in 2008 and 2010 when the twin towns visited each other by bike. This was followed by a rally with a meeting in Thuringia and a joint onward journey to Berlin, cycle tours in St. Ingbert and the surrounding area as well as in Radebeul and the surrounding area.

The theme of this year's cycle tour is "30 years of reunification". Five cyclists will travel by car to St. Ingbert on Thursday, 20 August 2020, where they will be welcomed by the Lord Mayor, Prof. Dr Meyer, and the four St. Ingbert cyclists. On Friday (21 August 2020), the athletes will then set off on their bikes and cover 850 km by Thursday (27 August 2020) to reach St. Herblain. A challenge, because not only will the metres in altitude of the first few days sap their strength, but the sun will also demand a lot from the participants.
