Brunch for International Women's Day at the Fami

04.03.2020

International Women's Day - what does it mean in 2020?

International Women's Day was first celebrated in 1911. However, it was only recognised by the United Nations in 1977 after long debates. Ten years later, the date was set for 8 March.
What are women still fighting for today? We want to talk and exchange ideas about this in a relaxed and informal atmosphere over brunch. Women of all backgrounds are cordially invited to spend the morning with us on 10 March. There will be a small programme.
Start: 10.00 a.m.
Location: Radebeul Family Centre
Admission free
Please register by e-mail

You are also welcome to come to Coswig on 8 March.
The event starts at 3.00 pm, admission at 2.30 pm, tickets are available for €10 (incl. 1 sparkling wine and 1 coffee) from the advance booking office of the Börse. The Coswiger Gymnasium school orchestra and the theatre group from the Großenhain playhouse have been invited to provide the entertainment. Their play ""Urlaubsreif" is about the problems when old and young live together and both generations plan their holidays at the same time. After all, who looks after the hamster or who looks after the dog? Have the bread rolls been cancelled? How do you reconcile everything?

Yours sincerely,
Your Equal Opportunities Officer Katja Kulisch
