But the inseparable hunting team is harbouring a wild secret. Not even Alfred's watchful wife, Brunhilde, known to all as "the Xantippe vom Auer", has any idea what the three of them are up to in the thicket at night...
When the bigwigs of a diplomatic hunt announce their arrival... ...and a blonde fashionista in high-heeled shoes is spotted in the misty clouds of the Frauenteich, the Moritzburg forest idyll turns into a tear-jerkingly funny undergrowth comedy.
