Design guideline
In March 2017, a design guideline for the "Centre Radebeul-West" redevelopment area was adopted by the urban development committee of the large district town of Radebeul in order to protect and shape the future design of the district of Radebeul-West, which is significant from a historical, architectural and urban planning perspective.
It describes the design redevelopment objectives for the external design of buildings, advertising structures and open spaces in more detail and serves to underpin the redevelopment objectives and facilitate their implementation as part of the granting of a redevelopment permit (in accordance with Section 144 BauGB). For the residents of the redevelopment area, this guideline provides a clear framework for action and makes the decisions of the redevelopment authority transparent and comprehensible.
The design guidelines have been published as a brochure as part of the "Planen und Bauen in Radebeul" series of publications. This is available from the town hall if you are interested.
