Current corona situation in the district of Meißen

The 7-day incidence value of the RKI for the district of Meissen is 101.4 today and is therefore below the value of 165 for the fifth working day in a row. The district administration of Meissen has therefore published an emergency announcement today on the website www.kreis-meissen.de - Aktuelles - Bekanntmachungen(Landkreis Meißen - Bekanntmachungen (kreis-meissen.org).
The facilitating measures associated with this lowering of the threshold value will apply from the day after next - i.e. from Thursday, 20 May 2021, when the ban on face-to-face teaching at general and vocational schools, universities, extracurricular adult education institutions and similar institutions will be lifted. Face-to-face teaching will be permitted for these institutions in the form of alternating teaching. Individual lessons at art, music and dance schools as well as by freelance music teachers may then also take place again under the conditions of Section 28 (2) SächsCoronaSchVO.
Day-care centres will be allowed to reopen with limited regular operations from 20 May 2021. However, since Tuesday last week, self-disclosure as proof of testing has not been sufficient for parents to enter daycare centres under federal law.
