Churfürstliches Weinbergsfest
The Hoflößnitz wine estate looks back on a history of over 600 years. Once a vineyard and rural retreat for the Wettin family, the idyllic estate is now a jewel of Saxony's wine culture landscape.
A highlight of the Radebeul wine year is the Hoflößnitz Wine Festival in October. In addition to the winery's organic wines, visitors can also enjoy a Saxon wine table with around 30 wines from all over Saxony. A varied stage programme promises entertainment for young and old. At the gates of the Hoflößnitz, a historic crafts market invites visitors to take a leisurely stroll. Meanwhile, those seeking relaxation and tranquillity can enjoy not only the wonderful view of the Elbe valley, but also a glass or two of wine on a romantic walk across the wine terraces.
